Pilate Washing His Hands
Pilate Washing His Hands is a third proof that Ghiberti is a great renaissance man. This sculpting was made during 1403-1424. It depicts a man named Pilate washing Jesus's hands. This sculpting again shows classicism with the Roman arches in the back of it. It shows realism because the people are proportional to each other and the sculpting has fine detail.
